Not What One Church Can Do
Youth Pastors in our network meet every Tuesday morning for breakfast and to discuss things that are going on in our ministries. Shortly after coming on staff here, I was invited to one of these meetings. As a group, we came up with an outreach event that our churches and others could do together that would be a little different than our normal service. We came up with C-Tour, meaning Church Tour.
The first Sunday night of each month, these different youth groups will visit different churches within the network. The purpose is to see how other youth groups do ministry differently and have them meet together for worship and praise.
On May 17, ONE8O will host a C-Tour here at Crossroads at 6 pm. We will have free food provided by Fuddrucker’s of Greer, worship led by the Crossroads Praise Band, giveaways, and preaching of God’s Word by Michael Evans.
I am a firm believer that it’s not about what one church can do for Jesus. It’s what many churches can do together to reach the lost for Jesus Christ. This night will be geared toward evangelism, giving youth an opportunity to accept Jesus into their hearts as Lord and Savior.
Please be much in prayer for this event. Youth are encouraged to invite all their friends for a time of fellowship, praise, and worship. We would love to see a full house of students, not just for numbers, but to let Satan know he is a defeated foe. It’s time for us to stand up and take seriously the responsibility of telling everybody about Jesus Christ. We are the only Jesus some people will ever see. If you can help in any way, please contact me. I’m praying that many souls will be saved. I cling to Philippians 4:13, “Through Him we can do anything.”
Just 4 Him,
Michael
